So, I tend to start baking more as fall comes upon us.  My mom and I went to the store the other night (me so I could get ingredients, her quick groceries) and while in line, she called me a “frustrated baker.” 

That actually really does describe me.  I absolutely love to bake, especially cookies and cakes, i.e. desserts.  I often don’t end up eating very much of what I bake, though, lol.  It’s not that I don’t like, but after a day slaving over it, I like other people to eat it, lol.  Sadly the only people at home are my mother and step-father, who often “watch what they eat,” i.e.  Eat just one and I’m left with a tone of leftovers.  Luckily, my BFF recently moved in with us, so now there’s at least one more person to eat my baking, lol, but that is still only one person.  I doubt she wants me to make her fat….  So there we have it:  “Frustrated Baker”

Today’s adventure was scones, Cranberry and Orange Scones, to be precise.  They turned out yummy beyond what I had hoped.  :) 

I’m really new to this whole tumblr thing.  I thought I might as well start it off with something I love:  photography! <3

I in no way think I am an extraordinary photographer.  I’ve never had any real formal training, well except for the fact my mother is a photographer and that one lousy photography class I took back in high school.  ;)

However, I do like to take pictures, especially of nature and animals.  This is a flower I found near the top of Mill Mountain in Western Virginia.
